This 6.1m Cat is an open top version of this design, which is built extremely strong and is definately not a light weight.
The photo’s show the vessel in choppy conditions just inside the South Passage bar. This version of the power catamaran boat is powered by twin 130 hp Yamahas and cruises smoothly at 30 knots through conditions that would have a monohull or other catamaran designs pounding. This version has a 2.4m beam to allow room for fitting a trailer which can be registered for normal road transportation.
